When Kennedy Lost came to town I knew she was different. She listened to music in her head that I wanted to hear. She had eyes that smiled on their own, as if she still believed in dreams that I had given up on. She danced through life and I wanted to join her.
I used her to remember.
Remember the love. Remember the passion. Remember myself.
But falling in love with your brother’s girl was against the rules.
Even if she was the only thing that ever awakened me.
